Meet Amy Marie Kulseth

Born and raised in Minnesota, Amy Marie Kulseth's artistic journey is deeply rooted in her experiences of nature and beauty. Growing up in the northern suburbs, she was fortunate to have the tranquility of the outdoors as her playground, while still being close to the energy of the city. From a young age, Amy developed a profound passion for both nature and art, which would later become the cornerstones of creative expression.

Amy's life has been a testament to resilience and determination. As an infant, she faced the challenges of a traumatic brain injury that resulted in partial paralysis on her left side. Through family support, extensive therapy, and a connection to art, Amy has not only overcome these obstacles but has thrived. She embodies the spirit of her guiding mantra: “Do the best you can with what you are given,” which resonates throughout her work.

Pursuing her passion for creativity, Amy attended Mankato State University, where she studied art and interior design. She earned her BA in Marketing and Art Design.

Now residing in Blaine, Minnesota, with her husband and two children, Amy continues to draw inspiration from her surroundings. When she isn’t immersed in her art, she cherishes time spent with family, fishing, and embracing the great outdoors. Amy Marie Kulseth’s work is a reflection of her journey, celebrating the beauty of nature and the strength of the human spirit.
